Dog Man Unleashed is a graphic novel by Dav Pilkey that shows the awesome adventures of the main character and all his friends. In the beginning, the villain of the story wants to escape from the cat jail and so he makes a paper version of himself. At the police station, it is dog man's friend chief's birthday and dog man goes to buy chief a fish the fish that he gets is spooky and when the chief accidentally dumps smart pills into the tank the fish is in he becomes a genius. Then the paper version of Petey gets taken to a strange doctor that brings him to life. So all the villains get into a giant battle that takes them to the top of a snowy hill and the real Petey gets captured and the paper one freezes but the fish uses his soul to go into someone’s body which he doesn’t succeed. 

I think this book is funny intense and supernatural. Dog Man Unleashed is very funny with jokes about some of his friends and some of the jokes he makes himself. Secondly, it's intense like the part where the fights are you just want to keep reading. Lastly, this book is supernatural because fish cannot move objects because of a non-existent product. so this book is awesome and it needs more credit than has been given in the category of children's books.

Dog Man A Tale of 2 Kittens is a graphic novel by Dav Pilkey that describes the backstory of a new character in a series. In the beginning, the villain Petey the cat escaped prison and returned to his old lab which was very unclean. At the same time dog man let a fish that was being reincarnated fall into a factory of living spray. So he bought a cloning machine and discovered that an adult would not be cloned but a kid. But Petey needed a butler so he put the kitten on the street and left it there. After the kitten drags the box he is put into the police station dog man takes him as his own. In the end, Petey comes back for the kitten, and dog man fights a group led by a reincarnated fish.    

I like this book because it is easy to read, funny, and it is short. this book is so easy to read because the text is apparent and there is not much text on each page. Second, this book is funny with things like pages that you flip to see an animation. Lastly, this book is very short and it's great for times like going to bed or passing time. So I believe that this book is a young childhood book but a good one to pass the time.

    What is the Stanley Cup by Gail Herman, describes the history of hockey's most prestigious award. the Stanley Cup is an award for a town that a wealthy family bought and started a tournament; whoever won was given the trophy. As the Canadian hockey League grows and the original 6 begins the award becomes part of the NHL. After that, the league does not stop growing and so the chances of winning the cup go down and down. And at the end, it talks about what happens when you win which is you get your name on a plate on the Stanley cup.

    I like this book because it hits home from being a hockey player to my dreams and history. To think that I am a hockey player and I love the NHL. second, that is one of my dreams of playing in the NHL and winning the Stanley cup. and finally I love the history behind everything I love, and what a dream. so this book is a great nonfiction book that has the history of the most prestigious award in Hockey history.

Knucklehead Blog

Knucklehead a short storytelling book by Jon Scieszka describes the mess that 6 boys in one house can make. To begin the family of Jon Scieszka is introduced as a family from Flint, Michigan. The best story from the boy's childhood is when they were in a construction area and dug foxholes and trenches and started a war with their friends. My other favorites include every chapter about his catholic school like when the nuns are introduced as the teachers. Another catholic story is when it talks about all the extra curriculum the boys signed up for to be like each other like choir Next is all the jokes in the book such as puns family punchlines and so much more. Finally, the last story that I enjoyed was about where they almost set the house on fire from burning plastic.




This book was great it was funny descriptive and over a long period. Funny this book was so funny I don't know if it is just because there is 6 brother or the way it is written this book is one of the funniest books I have ever read. Another thing about this book is it is descriptive and I say this because none was slow delta you got every second of that story. Last but not least this book had a span of time from the first two kids till both of the oldest graduated. So in my opinion this book is amazing and should not be overlooked.

 Dog Man Fetch 22 is a graphic novel by Dav Pilkey that describes the awesome adventures of the main character dog man. To begin we are introduced to the characters who are all friends that live in the same town. next, the main character is faced with a roadblock with being a good cop as the crazy new character that was fired from being a host of a children's show makes an army from the chemicals in a pond filled with tadpoles. Then the tadpoles and their masters take over the city and dog man is in charge of stopping them. as he is chasing them his son comes along to help and give dog man motivation.

I like this book because it is funny and filled to the brim. Also, I believe that this book has a lot of comic relief but it still shines a little light on real things that some people struggle with. I think a real lesson we can learn is to have friends or family to help you when you doubt yourself. Lastly, I think this book is great because it is good for all ages.
