The Boys Who Challenged Hitler

 The Boys Who Challenged Hitler

The Boys Who Challenged Hitler, a historical fiction by Phillip Hoose, describes the acts of a rebellion against the Nazis in Norway during world war II. The Churchhill Club is a rebellion that started with hatred for the Germans. their leader Kund is the leader and always wants to make their attacks worthwhile. In the early days, they used to paint walls and disable cars. But as time passed they found out that stealing weapons and burning buildings was a better hit to the Germans. Eventually, they get caught, and while behind bars they receive no news. they learn afterward that the rebels have grown and the British are stepping In to arm all of their members.

The Boys Who Challenged Hitler is a great book, it is intense, it's patriotic, and it shows more than just the main battles of WWII. Every attack is more intense and makes you hold your breath hoping that they don't get caught. it is also very patriotic as it shows the amount that they care for their country and want it to be free of its captors. Lastly, just cause they were a small group there are pictures of British propaganda that show the amount of bravery they have but it is a little exaggerated as all propaganda was. As you can see The Boys Who Challenged Hitler is a great book.
